Northridge Youth Ministry
Northridge Youth Ministry exists to see more students become more like Jesus. We know Jesus is calling the students of our community to be His disciples, and we aim to provide a place for students to encourage each other in this calling. We strive to be a family where students can belong, believe in Jesus, and become more like Him.

Overview of the Gospel
The goal of NYM is to see more students become more like Jesus. The Gospel is how this transformation takes place. In the Gospel, God has made a way through Jesus' life, death, and resurrection to save students from sin's power, penalty, and presence. Any student who cries out in faith to God from a place of repentance will experience the Gospel's transformative power. As one of Jesus' earliest disciples noted, "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes and is justified, and with the mouth, one confesses and is saved. The Scripture says, 'Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.'... For 'everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:9-13 ESV)
The Gospel is not only a way to know Jesus' plan of salvation but also the way the Spirit of God makes students more like Jesus. Through regularly reminding and re-aligning our lives around the Gospel of Jesus, the NYM family aims to encourage each student to grow into the young men and women God created them to become. (John 15:1–5; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Philippians 1:6)
If you are a student who has questions about God or the Gospel, NYM exists to be a safe place for you to find answers.
