HOW DO I GET INVOLVED AS A PARENT?
You can partner with us through:
Prayer
We need all the prayer we can get. Would you partner with us in praying that God would make more students look more like Jesus?
Getting them there
We know parents are the biggest influencers in a student’s life but we also know that it takes a village to raise teenagers in the ways of Jesus. That said, we need your help: one way to make sure your students are involved in our programs and events is to offer to drive them there. Encourage them to invite their friends along for the ride.
Connecting with your student’s Small Group Leader
While parents and guardians are the biggest influencers in a teenager’s life, we’re far more likely to make an impact if we influence them in the same direction. Small Group Leaders meet regularly with your students both on Wednesday nights and outside of the regular weekly program. Be sure to come to events like Bring Your Own Parent Night and other Small Group gatherings so you can get to know the person(s) who will be partnering with you throughout your family’s time with Northridge Youth.
