Parent Cue: week of August 9th
We are so excited to be reopening the Rochester and Webster campuses TODAY! We have missed all of our Northridge Kids and cannot wait to see our families when they return. If you are joining us today or within the next few weeks, you can check out the reopening page here for more information.
Last month, our kids team put together some video devotionals to help you and your kids study the Bible together. We tried out a variety of different methods that we hope will inspire you to study God’s Word. If you missed those devotionals, you can find them and printable Bible Study guides here. This week, we want to share two more tools that may help you to inspire faith in your kids!
Preschool— Throughout the next couple months, our preschool environments will be using the Life.Church Bible App for Kids curriculum. This curriculum actually has an app that accompanies it, the “Bible App for Kids” You can download the Bible App for Kids and look for the picture below. Or if you would rather have a book version find that here.
Elementary—This month, our elementary kids are learning that God’s creativity is endless. And since we’re made in God’s image, we can be creative, too. The Bible App has a 7 day devotional called, Indescribable. Check it out by going here or find it in the reading plans on your Bible app.

Bible Story: Dreams Come True—Joseph’s rise to power (Genesis 39-45)
Big Idea: You can be a good example for your friends to copy when you live like Jesus. Copy Jesus by making right choices, helping, saying kind words, and sharing!
Ask your kids: How can I be a good example? (I can live like Jesus!)
