KiDS Monthly Parent Cue: June

Parents, if you have a preschooler, you may notice a change. We have switched curriculum so that all of our kids from age 2 through 5th grade will be learning that same story each week and working on the same memory verse. We hope you find this helpful as you engage your kids in conversation about what they are learning!

WEEK 1
    Bible Story: 1 Corinthians • 1 Corinthians 13
    Big Idea: God’s love is perfect.

WEEK 2
    Bible Story: Philippians • Philippians 2
    Big Idea: Jesus shows us humility.

WEEK 3
    Bible Story: Colossians • Colossians 1
    Big Idea: Jesus is greater than all things.

WEEK 4
    Bible Story: 1 & 2 Thessalonians •1 Thessalonians 4-5, 2 Thessalonians 1-2
    Big Idea: Jesus will return one day.

WEEK 5
    Bible Story: 1, 2, 3 John • 1 John 4:7-21, 2 John 1:5-6
    Big Idea: God’s love helps us love others.

Preschool Memory Verse: “See the love God has given us, to be called children of God.”  1 John 3:1

Elementary Memory Verse: “See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.”  John 3:1 ESV
