Baptism: Ellen Warner

Ellen grew up with no method of communication. She was born Deaf and didn't learn to sign until the age of nine. As a result, she had no way of knowing who Christ was. Around the time she started learning sign language, Ellen had the opportunity to attend a Christian camp where she heard the gospel for the first time. Although she could understand what they were saying, it wasn’t until years later that she fully comprehended the work of Jesus Christ and accepted Him into her life. From there, she began to surrender and heal from past trauma she had never addressed. She recently realized that she had never been baptized and made the decision to step out in faith. Now, Ellen walks closely with the Lord and shares her testimony with those in her community. She understands that she will never be perfect, but through Christ, she is made whole.
