Parent Cue: week of September 6th

Happy Labor Day weekend families! We hope your family had a good time of rest and spent time together! If you were away from the Northridge buildings this weekend that doesn’t mean you have to be “away”! The reason for this is because of the videos and resources below! Or maybe you were able to be at a Northridge Campus this passed weekend and for your family you can view one of the Kids experiences below! Whatever it is we are excited to partner with you to make more and better discipleships!

Preschool Resources

Bible Story: Journeys for Jesus—Paul’s journey and trials

Big Idea: Jesus tells all His friends to go into the whole world and preach God’s Good News. Everyone needs you to share Jesus with them, everywhere you go!

Ask your kids: Who should I share Jesus with? (Share Jesus with everyone!)

Memory Verse:“Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone..” Mark 16:15 NLT

Elementary Resources

Life App: Friendship—Using your words and actions to show others you care

Memory Verse: “A friend loves at all times and a brother is born for a time of adversity.” Proverbs 17:17 (NIV)

Bible Story: Better Together (Two people are better than one) • Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Bottom Line: Choose your friends carefully.

Ask Your Kids: What makes someone a good friend?

What makes choosing friends carefully so difficult?
