KiDS Weekly Experience Guide & Parent Cue: week of June 13th

It’s hard to believe that this crazy and unpredictable school year is almost over! Summer is almost here!

Father’s Day is next Sunday, June 20th. With Father’s day approaching, we're asking families to submit videos of their kids talking about "what they love about dad." These submissions will be compiled into a video that will be played during services on Father’s Day. If you would like to contribute a video, see the guidelines below:

  • Length: Please keep videos to under 20 seconds. We want to be able to highlight as many dads as possible!

  • Dimensions: Please shoot your video in landscape form (16:9). Portrait videos unfortunately cannot be used.

  • File Type: Please submit MP4 or MOV files (do not condense files).

  • Video: Please submit videos to video@northridgerochester.com by June 14th!

  • Depending on the volume of video submissions, it is possible that not all will be highlighted in the final video. Thanks for being flexible as we celebrate fathers.

This week’s resources are listed below. Have a great week!

Preschool Resources

Bible Story: The Dreamer—Joseph is sold into slavery

Big Idea: God has good plans for everything He made. Most of all, God has good things for us to do when we trust and follow Jesus! He uses our good days and our bad days to help us do the good plans He has for us!

Step 1: Watch the video with your preschoolers.

Step 2: Review with your kids.

Ask your kids: Why did God make me? (God has good plans for me!)

Step 3: Practice the Memory Verse with your preschoolers.

Memory Verse: “... I know the plans I have for you,”says the LORD. “They are plans for good ...”” Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

Step 4: Print the Adventure Guide to use with your preschooler throughout the week.
