KiDS Weekly Experience Guide & Parent Cue: week of June 6th
Happy June! As we kick off a new month, our kids environments are all gearing up for a new focus. Check it out below:
PRESCHOOL: God has good plans for everything He made. Most of all, God has good things for us to do when we trust and follow Jesus! He uses our good days and our bad days to help us do the good plans He has for us! In this unit, kids will learn about the life of Joseph and how God used even Joseph's misfortunes to put him in the right place to fulfill God's plan.
ELEMENTARY: If you’re a grown-up and you’ve been following Jesus for a while, you’ve probably figured out a few ways to grow spiritually. The kids you’re parenting, on the other hand, aren’t grown-ups, so they might need a little help from you to figure out how, exactly, to grow spiritually. So what should spiritual growth look like for a kid? We like to think about it in terms of four spiritual habits. To help a kid grow spiritually, teach them to spend time with God, spend time with others, use their gifts, and share their story.
THIS Sunday, June 6th is our Next Level Event from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. NYM is hosting this special event for parents and 5th grade students to introduce them to our NYM team and help them know what to expect. This event will be held both at our Rochester Campus and our Webster Campus directly after our last service. We will have content recorded for the Online Campus.

Preschool Resources
Bible Story: The Dreamer—Joseph is sold into slavery
Big Idea: God has good plans for everything He made. Most of all, God has good things for us to do when we trust and follow Jesus! He uses our good days and our bad days to help us do the good plans He has for us!
Step 1: Watch the video with your preschoolers.
Step 2: Review with your kids.
Ask your kids: Why did God make me? (God has good plans for me!)
Step 3: Practice the Memory Verse with your preschoolers.

Step 4: Print the Adventure Guide to use with your preschooler throughout the week.
