KiDS Weekly Experience Guide & Parent Cue: week of May 9th

Happy Mother’s Day! Moms, we are grateful for you and the important role you play in influencing your kids faith journey. We hope that today you feel loved and appreciated for all of the sacrifices you make for your families. We have a 5 day devotional to recommend for moms.

“God wants us to have the abundance of motherhood, not the fear! He will not always take away the storms but He promises us His peace in the midst of them. It doesn’t matter if our children are infants, adults, or somewhere in between: discover the biblical direction to become a woman of serenity and delight in all seasons and have impact for generations to come”. Check out this week’s resources below! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Preschool Resources

Bible Story: The First Sin

Big Idea: Wisdom is knowing what’s right and choosing to do it. Ask God for wisdom. Listen to what He says. Stay on God’s path, and live like Jesus. Don’t make the wrong choice like Adam and Eve did when they disobeyed God.

Step 1: Watch the video with your preschoolers.

Step 2: Review with your kids.

Ask your kids: How do you make the right choice? (I ask God! God helps me make the right choice!)

Step 3: Practice the Memory Verse with your preschoolers.

Memory Verse: “...If any of you need wisdom, ask God for it ...” James 1:5 NIRV

Step 4: Print the Adventure Guide to use with your preschooler throughout the week.
