Baptism: Gabbie Lawyerr

Gabbie grew up in the church and was baptized by her mother when she was younger, but still couldn’t find herself absorbing the messages. She noticed that she would change who she was based on who she was around and didn’t feel authentic until about two and a half years ago when she put her faith in Christ.

At the time, she had just gone through a bad breakup and didn’t like the place she found herself. One day after school, she felt compelled to pray for direction and to feel real when around family and friends. At this moment, she felt furthest away from God, but God gave her the strength to keep her focus on him as she healed.

Since placing her faith in Christ, Gabbie’s life has changed significantly. She feels whole again and has the desire to be herself no matter who she is around. She doesn’t know where she’s going or what God has in store for her, but she has faith that she’s complete and that God will lead the way!
