Baptism: Kiley Cook

Before Christ, Kiley found herself in a dark depression because of an injury she had in her past. This caused her to feel a disconnection from Christ. Every day was growing more difficult as she found herself going through the motions.

It was a continued spiral as she found herself struggling at work and trying to fake her happiness. Over time she realized she couldn’t create the strength and hope she needed and that was something only God could achieve as he worked through her.

She came to Christ when she realized what she was going through wasn’t a punishment. God had only yet to reveal a much greater purpose for her. She no longer had to live in sin and was able to give her struggles to God when she realized her punishment was put onto Christ when he died for her sins.

After giving her life over to Christ, she feels changed, renewed, and alive again. She feels hopeful as she faces new trials and her passion for God has grown greatly. Since growing a relationship with Christ her feelings have multiplied and she feels the need to tell others about Christ and how God has changed her life and can change their lives as well.
