Baptism: Maddie Pratt

Before Christ, life was messy and complicated for Maddie. She would always go to Sunday school where she learned about Christ but never really felt a connection with God.

She eventually found herself straying from the church and her mental health declining. Through all this chaos, she found herself wondering: if God really loved her, why would he do such a thing to someone who’s trying to believe in him?

About a year ago, a friend invited Maddie to an NYM event, but she was hesitant and wasn’t sure if she wanted to continue pursuing a relationship with Christ. It wasn’t until she heard the message that she realized the true meaning of being a follower of Christ.

Maddie chose to be baptized today to show that no matter how difficult life can be, Christ will never leave you.
