Baptism: Ryan Arnold
During his high school and college years, Ryan found himself drifting from his faith. Although he and his wife tried several times after moving out of state, they couldn’t seem to find a church that clicked with them. When they moved back to Rochester, he connected with a Northridge sermon about God’s restoration, which moved him to join a community group. He later got involved with more Northridge activities, including Bible study and prayer before work.
However, Ryan felt like he was trying to do it all on his own. Freedom came for him when he realized that God had already paid the price for him and that he needed to let go of control, putting his trust in Him. He came to grips with the fact that his transformation wasn’t just a single event but rather a process over time.
Ryan is getting baptized to say publicly that Jesus is the leader of his life and the forgiver of His sins.
