Baptism Stories: Sue Rozinski

Sue grew up believing in God through the Catholic church, but for so long, she didn’t fully understand what it was to have a rich relationship with Christ. She pursued a holy life in the way she lived but realized she didn’t understand the deeper meaning behind the scriptures.

When her three-month-old son passed away, she began to experience the comfort that only God can provide. Looking back, she realizes that Jesus was holding her through that difficult time.

Eventually, she began attending a new church, where she felt more engaged and gained a greater understanding of the gospel. A good friend invited her to Northridge, and she looks forward to it every week. She leaves fulfilled and continues to think of each sermon. Her friend has taught her to always put God first in her life. Since putting her faith in Christ, Sue understands that Christ is in control and that he died for her sins.

Today, Sue believes her life is better in more ways than one. She’s celebrated fifty years of marriage, is in pursuit of her nursing job, and found that her life has more positive meaning.
