Parent Cue: week of May 3rd

May has arrived and although it may not be what we have expected our prayer as a Northridge Kids team is that you and your family are viewing this season as an opportunity to have more conversations about God and his Word with your Kids! And we at Northridge Kids want to help in this post see was books of the bible tools to help your kids memorize the books of the bible as our challenge to them for the month of May. Also, Northridge Kids own memory verse videos and Church @ Home for Preschool & Elementary ages! Enjoy!

Preschool

Memory Verse: “Nothing at all can ever separate us from God’s love.”

Romans 8:39, NIrV

Bible Story Focus: God made me, and He loves me.

God Made Me • Genesis 1:26; Psalm 139:14

Ask your kids: Who loves you? (God loves me)

Elementary

Memory Verse: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9 NIV

Bible Story: Send Me on My Way (Jesus’ Final Orders to His Disciples / Ascension) • Matthew 28:16-20; Luke 24:50-53; Acts 1:1-11

Bottom Line: Keep going even when it seems impossible.

Ask your kids: What seems impossible to you?

We know about Jesus because the disciples showed determination. What are ways we can show determination, like the disciples, and let others know about Jesus? Can you think of times you have told others about Jesus?
