Parent Cue: week of May 31st

Hey Parents, this week is a new opportunity to engage with Northridge Kids! We are really excited about the “What’s in the Bible?” Series from RightNow Media and more!

  • Have you had an opportunity to check out all of the resources for kids on RightNow Media? RightNow Media is like the Netflix of Bible resources for adults and kids. You can sign up for a free account through Northridge Church. One great resource is the “What’s in the Bible?” series by Phil Vischer, creator of Veggie Tales. This series helps kids understand how all 66 books of the Bible fit together to tell one big, redemptive story. Volume 1 is a great place to start because it answers these two questions: “What is the Bible?” and “Who wrote the Bible?” These videos are engaging for both kids and their parents. Click here to get started.

  • As our Elementary Kids wrap up our month long focus on Determination , we hope they will continue to show determination as they finish up the school year or as they work to memorize all the books of the Bible. Throughout this month, we’ve shared our “Books of the Bible” playlist and a set of printable cards to help your kids memorize the books. (Check out the “bible games” archive on our Instagram page for more fun games to play with these cards.)  If you would like a printed copy of the cards on cardstock, fill out this form and we’ll mail you a set of cards. We’ve LOVED seeing videos of your kids saying (or singing) the Books of the Bible!

Thank you for allowing us to partner with you!

Preschool

Memory Verse: “Nothing at all can ever separate us from God’s love.”

Bible Story Focus: God loves me, and I am special to Him.

The Lost Coin • Luke 15:8-10

Ask your kids: Who loves you? (God loves me)

Bottom Line: Keep going even when you have questions.

Ask your kids: What questions do you have?

What should we do if we don’t get answers to our questions?
