Baptism: Daniel Kent

Before becoming a christian, Daniel was raised catholic and went to church and knew what things to avoid. But he wasn’t perfect, as he used bad language, fell into lust, and had a hard time expressing his true emotions. At a youth retreat, he became aware of his need for Christ and broke down upon realizing how lost he was. He began to read the Bible more and be more involved in church.

Daniel realized how dead he had been in his sin and that true liberating freedom only comes from pursuing faith in Jesus. Jesus gave him a purpose and a desire to serve others and truly repent. Now, he is no longer a slave to sin and is giving up more control to God. Everyone has ups and downs in life, but God’s unshakeable love remains constant. He wants to give God glory because He has given him new life.
