My First Christmas: Mary Buck

Mary placed her faith in Christ in March of 2023 and is really excited to celebrate Christmas this year because of how much more meaning it holds as a Christ follower.  She’s experienced the powerful realization that there is so much more to the season than consumerism and buying gifts. Christmas is now a time to celebrate the birth of Christ, a time that feels very personal and special to her since making Jesus her Lord and Savior.  She is spending time reflecting on how trusting Christ has allowed her to become free from the weight and hold that sin had had on her life and how she now has salvation through him.  Because of that, the focus of Mary’s Christmas this year will be a lot different because it will be a time of reflection on the birth of Christ and all that that means for her.
