Baptism: Zhang Songmei

Zhang’s hometown did not have a church, so she was not exposed to the Bible until coming to Rochester. She came to the U.S. in 2015 as a visiting scholar, and her coworker Edna brought her to Northridge to make some friends. After getting to know the Northridge community through Starting Point, she began to feel more at peace and gave her life to Christ. She describes her life today as new and completely different.

Zhang is getting baptized because she wants everyone to know that Jesus is the leader of her life and forgiver of her sins.
